It was a beautiful hotel, really luxurios welcoming and the rooms were really comfortable, i would definately stay again.
The jars in the restaurant were really off putting, felt like you were in a maze & felt you could fall over at any time, especially when its self service getting your own food & these jars popping out at you, really dizzy after it. Felt like you were on a boat!!! Such a pity
The hotel is centrally located within the town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. There was a good buzz in the hotel with music every night.Staff were helpful.
There is no hotel carpark and it is expensive paying for the public car park on weekdays. The hotel were kind enough to refund some of the costs however.
This is a busy and rather cramped hotel but the pool area is well designed - long enough to swim in properly. The staff were efficient (but busy) and the breakfast was exccellent.
The hotel is squeezed into a very central area of town. Somehow all of its facilitites have been shoehorned in which is quite an achievement. It is very very busy with trails of Americans coming in and out. The bars made it noisy at night and the room was small and quite dark, although well furnished. Staff were business like. It did not feel personal. Overall I thought it was expensive and probably would not stay again although its description on the website is not misleading.
Great staff and good clean hotel. Location could not be better.
Parking is a pain but it does refund you for some portion of it.
The location is excellent
I was disappointed with the food The breakfast was cold each morning and the dinner was just ok. I stayed there a few years ago and the food was excellent but disappointed this time.
The food was lovely and the staff were really nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. I loved the jacuzzi bath! Location was central to Killarney and within walking distance of everthing. There was a beautiful swimming pool and gym and also a spa.
Our room was on the ground floor right over a really busy, noisy late disco bar. We got little or no sleep as the music was booming and the smokers standing below our window made so much racket until 2am. It was not pleasant at all. However when we complained on Sunday on check out the manager was extremely sorry and gave us a discount. I would say to anyone planning on staying that unless you are planning to be out partying unitl 2am make to sure to request a room on a higher floor!! But I wish to stress that this is the only thing that we found fault in, everything else was magnificent.
Hotel was ideally situated, room fantastic, food and service excellant, will definately stay again
Only downfall was the parking facility, a bit away from the hotel
Great location everything within walking distance , no car park having to feed the car with euros
central location, beautiful hotel, very clean, rooms changed every day good food in bar,
some of our group namely the younger teenage members were made to feel very un welcoms as they had a tendancy to be noisy which in return made all the group feel a bit uncomfortable. i would not reccomend this hotel if travelling with teenagers otherwise it was great.
The hotel was beautifully decorated, the rooms were fabulous and it was extremely central. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Killarney if they want to be in the centre of things.
If you want a quieter stay ask for a room above the second floor and to the back as this hotel is on a main street and can be a little noisy for a light sleeper.
Its location is excellent and the staff are very helpful. The rooms were clean.
Loud music from the bar downstairs and nightclub nearby dependent on your room location. This did not matter on the nights we were out late ourselves!!
This hotel is excellent. It has a great location, rooms are to a very high standard and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Also, they fitness centre and pool are excellent with very helpfull staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.
No hotel parking is the only draw back. There is a public car park across the road that costs 2Euro per hour, so this helped a lot.
Excellent location, staff very friendly and obliging. Excellent location. We enjoyed our stay - can you do anything about the weather? Ha Ha.
Central position with clean extensive facilities
Loved the food and dining athmosphere.Really enjoyed the leisure centre.Fantastic evening entertainment and excellent location.Very good value for money.A lovely place to relax and leave the worry of the recession behind.Found all the staff friendly cheerful and helpfull.A good experience all round and look forward to returning there again.
Idid not like the single bed or the bedclothes. I found the bed quilt too heavy, I would have preferred a summer duvet and light bedspread, also the pillows were too firm.
